A little while be back we went to Moki’s Hawaiian Grill for a quick lunch. I had never been to Moki’s before however was rather curious to see what a Hawaiian grill of this caliber has to offer. I have been to Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine, the high end of Hawaiian food and loved it to say the least. I was hoping to see if Moki’s could be that stepping stone to Roy’s, or perhaps the cheap and faster alternative. (more…)

Moki’s makes itself deliberately hard to find. It’s buried behind a Jack In The Box in the least visible corner of a strip mall anchored by a Safeway and a likely-defunct real estate school. (more…)

As with all the restaurants at Dana Park, Rumbi was opened fairly recently. However, when we arrived, I was struck with a distinct smell of paint drying. Either they have a really bad seasoning selection, or they’re having to repaint after a few months open– it seemed strange right from the get-go. (more…)
